Green technology, alternative energy and sustainability are hot topics these days. With the wealth of information available, it is becoming easier to understand how our practices are harming our planet. It is also becoming clear that there is much we can do, with current and emerging technology, to change those practices for the better.
This innovation has inspired me. I’ve made it one of my main goals to promote sustainable practices and generate demand for technical innovation. I am a member of the Seattle Renewable Energy group, which focuses on sharing knowledge of renewable energy topics, a contributor to Worldchanging’s Seattle blog, and a program committee member for the O’Reilly Energy Innovation Conference. My focus is on renewable energy and sustainable living. I frequently give talks in the Seattle area on these topics.
